For more than a decade, DCN Global has been a place where digital professionals connect across borders to learn, collaborate, and move ideas forward. Many of you have been part of this through events, working groups, mentoring, research collaborations, startup connections, and conversations that turned into real projects with global reach.
DCN has worked since 2015 for one simple reason: people stayed connected around shared purpose. They exchanged knowledge, tested ideas, challenged assumptions, and helped each other navigate change together. What held the network together was not structure alone, but a belief that acting collectively across borders and disciplines is relevant and necessary.
As DCN enters its next chapter, membership becomes paid. Starting in 2026, DCN will operate on a €10 annual membership contribution. For current members, this €10 fee applies as an early-bird rate until February 15, 2026. This is a symbolic but meaningful contribution, and a way for those already part of DCN to affirm their commitment to its next phase. This change is not about selling perks or restricting access. It is about protecting and sustaining what DCN exists to do.

Why This Important Shift Now
The next years will radically reshape how we work, communicate, and create value. AI, automation, and platform power are already changing careers, institutions, and public life.
DCN’s role has never been to react late, but to stay engaged early. To create spaces where digital and AI transformation can be understood, discussed, and shaped responsibly.
DCN is built on shared beliefs:
- that technological change must be understood, not just adopted;
- that public understanding and ethical engagement matter;
- that global dialogue strengthens local action;
- and that progress is more meaningful when it is shaped together.
To continue acting on these beliefs, DCN needs continuity. Shared communication spaces, coordination across regions, and the ability to convene and act with focus and independence. Membership is how that shared action is sustained.
What membership means
DCN membership offers more than affiliation — it provides access, visibility, and influence within a growing international network shaping debates on digital transformation and AI.
Members benefit from:
- Priority invitations to DCN forums, closed-door roundtables, workshops, and public discussions
- Early access to announcements, calls, and opportunities across DCN initiatives and collaborations
- Visibility within the network, including participation in shared spaces, thematic discussions, and emerging projects
- Opportunities to contribute to DCN’s formats, working groups, publications, and experimental initiatives
- Direct engagement with peers, experts, and institutions involved in digital, media, and AI transformation
- A voice in shaping DCN’s direction, themes, and future activities
- Support for DCN’s independence, ensuring the network remains agile, relevant, and mission-driven over time
*DCN membership reflects participation and support within the network and does not involve participation in DCN’s organizational structure.
Digital membership badge
As part of DCN Membership 2026, contributing members will also receive a digital membership badge. This badge is a symbolic marker of participation and support for DCN’s next chapter, and can be used on social media profiles and personal websites. Use of the badge is entirely optional.
Membership is not about access alone. It is a signal of engagement and shared responsibility. Active membership is what keeps DCN’s exchanges, collaborations, and collective action moving forward.
If DCN has helped you learn, connect, grow, or act in ways that mattered, this is how you stay part of what comes next.
