From June 22 to 24, 2026, DCN Global will host an international youth gathering in Thessaloniki under the framework of the GEN.EU project. The event will bring together participants up to 26 years old from Poland, Romania, France, Hungary, Austria, and Spain to explore digital storytelling as a tool for civic participation and cross-border dialogue.
The program will focus on how young Europeans use digital platforms to address issues shaping their lives, including housing and cost of living, employment and the future of work, education, climate action, health and well-being, civic participation, and gender perspectives.
Thessaloniki’s vibrant creative scene and position as a cultural crossroads make it an ideal setting for building meaningful connections across borders. This is your invitation to contribute to Europe’s shared future.

About GEN.EU
Gen.EU aims to engage young Europeans through reliable, multilingual content focused on the issues that matter most to them. Content will be produced in Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, French, German, Spanish, and English and distributed across platforms popular with young audiences.
The project is led by Telex (Hungary) and implemented by an international consortium that includes OKO.press(Poland), Forum Apulum (Romania), AFP (France), Dossier (Austria), El Orden Mundial (Spain), CSM, and DCN Global.
Over its 14-month duration, the consortium will produce more than 1,620 short videos, 1,500 Instagram posts, 60 longer video materials, and 72 podcast episodes, with the objective of reaching at least 3 million young Europeans.
Why GEN.EU?
Digital storytelling has become central to how young people engage with societal issues and public debate. GEN.EU responds to the need for stronger skills, wider networks, and cross-border collaboration opportunities for emerging creators across Europe.
This project is co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Commission. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
