The Combating Disinformation training program, implemented by the Digital Communication Network Global and World Learning, will address combating disinformation in a holistic way, starting with the premise that the struggle for truth and fact-based thinking is a multifaceted and global challenge which impacts a variety of fields. Over 30 participants from Europe will participate in an interactive training course with experts in the fields of debunking
disinformation, social networking, digital storytelling, and community engagement.
This training aims to build a strong foundation of skills that will allow participants to:
- Gain a thorough understanding of disinformation and combating it.
- Identify, expose, and explain disinformation and its roots.
- Create a new model of debunking disinformation, conscious of impact and result.
- Foster engagement in the digital space and digital resilience.
Participants are expected to actively build on the training by applying the knowledge and skills obtained in their countries and in their organizations. The virtual training program will include quizzes and a final project at the end of the training.
